Madlib – Andy’s Knotty New Year – 44

We predict that 2022 is going to be a wild ride, but we believe that with creative thinking, collaborative partnerships, and a bit of elbow grease, it can be a year of growth and innovation. Maybe, just maybe, twelve months from now, we’ll look back on this as the brainstorm that started it all!

Andy’s Knotty New Year MadLib

Andy:

“Paul, this pandemic has totally disrupted the Marketing industry. We need something innovative and rabid for 2022.”

Paul:

“You’re right, and I might have just the thing! It’s a cowboy hat, specifically designed to give Gen X a better way to enjoy scuba diving!”

Andy:

“This will totally disrupt the Marketing category! It’ll be bigger than the cotton gin! We’ll be on the cover of cat fancy!”

Paul:

“Neil Armstrong would totally endorse this!”

Andy:

“We should call it Fonzie!”

Paul:

“I like it… but what if we called it i-Fonzie?”

Andy:

“Genius! We should call Doubleknot. They’re great at branding for really clever Assistant Manager!”

Paul:

“Great idea, if they’re not too busy sorting fabric…”

Andy:

“Now… we just need a killer tagline…”

Paul:

“How’s this: idiating your tree?”

Andy:

“That’s solid… but what about ‘The only way to scavenge true melancholy.’ “

Paul:

“You are too good… but we’ll need an iconic logo too.”

Andy:

“Well, it’s gotta be a surveying Eagle, right?”

Paul:

“How could it be anything else! Let’s pop the champagne, 2022 is going to be a great year!”

Sometimes great things happen when we zig when they zag, embrace the imperfections, and just have a little fun.
