Fresh Nest Home Products

The Challenge

Coming fast on the heels of our success in developing the Odorable Brand for their pet products, our friends at OxiScience asked us to create a sister brand for their home goods. The Fresh Nest line includes a wide range of odor and stain fighting products, based on their patented odorless formula. The brand and packaging system needed to be flexible and extensible to a wide range of products, but more importantly, it had to stand out in a crowded category online.

The Outcome

We realized that the core of their product (their formula) directly aligns with a growing consumer desire for household products that are simple, safe, and trustworthy. Our brand identity emphasized simplicity, purity and science to position them as a better alternative to other brands that were either harsh chemicals masked by strong perfumes, or “natural” products that didn’t actually clean or deodorize.

After an extensive exploration, we landed on a logo and identity that emphasized the home as a clean, pure space, and supporting graphics that underscored the scientific rigor behind the product. 

The packaging system is designed to be flexible and adapt to many different sizes and form factors (without requiring custom boxes and bottles). Color is used to establish product categories while maintain cohesion across the system.

We performed “shelf” tests to ensure the system would perform in a crowded e-commerce environment, where your thumbnail image really matters!
